Bank Support Worker - Nights

Salary: £12.24 per hour 

Working Hours: 12 hour shifts, 19:30-07:30

We are currently recruiting for a Bank Support worker - Nights to join our team at National Neurological Services - Morecambe

At National Neurological Services we support people with Acquired Brain Injuries and Neurological conditions in their rehabilitation. We strive to achieve personal goals and endeavour to support individuals in regaining as much independence as possible following their injury or condition. Our ultimate aim is for individuals to be able to return home and enjoy their lives again.. Here at Ashbrook Neuro Rehabilitation Centre, we have capacity to support up to 7 individuals through their slow stream rehabilitation.

You will work with young adults who have complexneeds. We are looking for a respectful and caring individual who canpassionately support our young adults to fulfil their potential. This is asometimes challenging role but one with huge rewards.

  • You will help to plan their daily tasks and assist with practical activities such as cooking, cleaning and running errands.
  • You will assist with personal care, which may include support with eating and administering medication.

  • You will make a positive impact on someone's life by supporting them to become more independent wherever possible.

  • Resilience to keep going at difficult times and the confidence to ask for support if needed.
  • Excellent listening and communication skills.
