About the Role: 

As the Regulatory and Quality Intelligence Officer, your main responsibility will be analysing data across systems, creating reports for the Board, Executive Board and Senior Management Team, on a monthly, weekly, daily and ad hoc basis. You will support the Quality Team to prepare for internal and external inspections by producing data packs. You will also monitor and report on the completion of internal inspections and assessments of visits undertaken by the Quality Auditors and Heads of Quality. The role will involve supporting other Executive Team members with data analysis requests.

What You’ll Do:

  • Monitoring weekly internal regulatory reports and analysing activity undertaken by the Quality Team and others.
  • Monitor statutory notifications, safeguarding referrals, incident reporting, flag under-reporting, and report on emerging trends and themes.
  • Review Nourish, Radar, Camascope and other data platforms dashboards to provide analysis to key stakeholders on trends and risks.
  • Provide data to and follow up on the completion of outstanding incident reports and escalating trends to all relevant stakeholders.
  • Produce summary reports of internal quality improvement actions.
  • Prepare data packs for regulatory and internal inspections.
  • Interpret and analyse qualitative and quantitative data from internal, local, and national sources to produce Board, Executive Board and Senior Management Team reports.
  • Support the Quality team to analyse internal and external regulatory inspection reports to identify trends in non-compliance.
  • Ensure information used in analysis is valid, authentic, reliable, current and sufficient. 
  • Monitor external regulator websites to provide sector comparison between competition. 
  • Monitor and provide management information on Service Risk profile changes.
  • Support the wider Quality Team, Operational Directors and other stakeholders with analysis and reporting requirements.
  • Attend Quality Business Reviews, Restraint Reduction Network and other key data meetings as required.
  • Attend meetings and service visits across the National Care Group estate as well as sector-based conferences as required.

 

What We’re Looking For:

  • Demonstrate experience of exceptional analytical skills and the capability to handle and interpret qualitative and quantitative data.
  • Proven experience of working within Adult Social Care in England.
  • Have knowledge of regulatory requirements in the health and social care sector for England and/or Wales.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, IT, Finance or a related field or equivalent by experience.
  • The ability to review large bodies of text efficiently with strict attention to detail. Be detail-oriented with excellent organisational skills
  • Proficient in data analysis tools and software, including Excel, Python or R programming skills and Tableau or Power BI.
  • The ability to work independently to achieve the wider team goal/objective/KPI
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
