National Care Group Support Workers at Shelton Care play a crucial role in providing the people we care for with everything they need to improve their quality of life and reach their full potential.

We are currently looking for a Support Workers to join our team in Stoke-on-Trent.

Our Cauldon Place and Rutland House services are made up of both shared and single occupancy flats and can be found situated across the road from each other in the heart of Stoke-in-Trent. Our services are home to adults with mental health conditions, learning disabilities and complex needs. The staff and people we support are valued members of the local community and access all local facilities. 

Days are spent supporting people to learn new skills or to find motivation to regain lost skills. This may be shopping, cooking, budgeting and other daily living skills. Our staff also support to attend to community responsibilities, such as medical appointments, attending college or voluntary positions or maybe just popping to town for window shopping and a cuppa. When not out and about staff are on hand for chats and advice to help when times become challenging.

We are looking to recruit for nurturing and supportive individuals, to work as part of our team to give the individuals we support, person centred support to enable them to achieve amazing outcomes. 

Full Time and Part Time roles are available – including Days or Night Contracts
Shifts are 7 days a week with a mixture of earlies, lates and long days available.
Day Shifts - 7am-3pm, 3pm-10pm
Night Shifts – 10pm-7am

The role of a Support Worker is to promote and encourage independence and life skills for the individual we support ensuring that their safety and wellbeing underpins every decision we make.
