Support Workers provide a vital part in providing the people we support with the care and ability to improve their quality of life.

We have an exciting opportunity at our Brand New Service opening in Tavistock. 

We are currently looking for a Part Time Night Support Workers to join our New Team in Tavistock. 

This role requires the role holder to be fully vaccinated against Covid-19 unless clinically exempt.

Atlantic Way Care is spread over three individual sites providing 24-hour support for individuals with Learning Disabilities and Mental Health needs. The new service will be an 8 bedded Supported Living Service. 

Our services are being shaped to fit the needs of our housemates and we offer a ‘holistic’ approach to delivery of care, taking great care to consider their physical, emotional, social and spiritual wellbeing of those who live with us.

27 Hours a week contract consisting of 3 Nights Per Week- start 10pm - 7am. 

Shift pattern across a seven day rota.

Support Workers provide a vital part in providing the people we support with the care and ability to improve their quality of life.

Your role as a Support Worker will include:
- Providing 1-1 and group support sessions
- Creating engaging and creative ways to interact with the people you support
- Help with accessing the community and taking the people you support to their appointments.
- Set person-centred goals and agreeing on how to reach them
- Help with personal care when required
- Support the running of the home including the cooking and cleaning.
