Support Workers provide a vital part in providing the people we support with the care and ability to improve their quality of life.

We are currently looking for a Support Worker to join our team in Semington. 

This role requires the role holder to be fully vaccinated against Covid-19 unless clinically exempt.

At Cornerstones Semington we provide residential services and support for up to 6 individuals with learning disabilities, autism and challenging behaviours. The home environment offers 6 bedrooms with two on the ground floor and the rest on the first floor, a large open living space, a good size kitchen so that daily living skills can be developed, an enclosed garden and easy access by foot to local countryside and the canal.

We have vehicles that enable us support people to attend appointments and to attend a wide variety of activities and interests. People also are supported to use the local bus which provides great links and opportunities to local towns.

We ensure that support is provided to individuals in the most person-centered way possible, ensuring they are treated with dignity and respect and have meaningful choice and control in their lives every day.

As a Support Worker worker you will work shifts patterns that include long days, weekends and sleep ins. 
We have a Full Time and Part Time hours available.

Support Workers provide a vital part in providing the people we support with the care and ability to improve their quality of life.

Your role as a Support Worker will include:
- Providing 1-1 and group support sessions
- Creating engaging and creative ways to interact with the people you support
- Help with accessing the community and taking the people you support to their appointments.
- Set person-centred goals and agreeing on how to reach them
- Help with personal care when required
- Support the running of the home including the cooking and cleaning.
