Support Workers provide a vital part in providing the people we support with the care and ability to improve their quality of life.

We are currently looking for a Support Workers to join our team in Gloucester. 

Chosen Care have Residential Services in Gloucester where we support adults with a range a needs including learning disabilities, physical disabilities and mental health conditions. 

Our Residential service, Chosen Court, compromises of 9 modern bedrooms where our aim is to deliver person-centred care, acknowledging individual’s unique qualities, abilities, interests and needs promoting that the people we support are the centre of all that we do. We work in partnership with families and relevant professionals to maximise choice control and independence for the people we support. 

We help develop skills in cooking, cleaning, personal care and accessing the community to increase and promote independent living. 

Shifts are a mixture of 7.30am-3pm, 2.30pm or 7.30am-10.30pm with alternative weekends.

Support Workers provide a vital part in providing the people we support with the care and ability to improve their quality of life.

Your role as a Support Worker will include:
- Providing 1-1 and group support sessions
- Creating engaging and creative ways to interact with the people you support
- Help with accessing the community and taking the people you support to their appointments.
- Set person-centred goals and agreeing on how to reach them
- Help with personal care when required
- Support the running of the home including the cooking and cleaning.
