Support Workers provide a vital part in providing the people we support with the care and ability to improve their quality of life.

We are currently looking for a Full Time or Part Time Support Workers to join our team in Bideford.

Atlantic Way Care is spread over three individual sites providing 24-hour support for individuals with a vast range of complex Mental Health needs. We are able to support people with Mental Health issues, Learning Disabilities people with conditions such as ADHD, Asperger’s, Autism and people who need help with addiction problems such as drug dependency and alcohol misuse.

Our mission is to enable the people we support to live full, rewarding, and happy lives. Through person centred planning, we support every individual to achieve their potential, to develop new skills and to live as independently as possible within the community. The support we provide is a variation of supporting though difficulties with Mental health, with choices and in extreme cases emergency services. We help prepare and make meals, accessing the community and some personal care. 

We have Full Time and Part Time positions available. 
Shifts can vary from days, earlies, lates, sleepins and weekends.

Support Workers provide a vital part in providing the people we support with the care and ability to improve their quality of life.

Your role as a Support Worker will include:
- Providing 1-1 and group support sessions
- Creating engaging and creative ways to interact with the people you support
- Help with accessing the community and taking the people you support to their appointments.
- Set person-centred goals and agreeing on how to reach them
- Help with personal care when required
- Support the running of the home including the cooking and cleaning.
