Support Workers provide a vital part in providing the people we support with the care and ability to improve their quality of life.

We are currently looking for Night Support Workers to join our team in Rochdale.

Ashbrook is a 7 bedded slow stream rehabilitation unit. 

Here we support people with Acquired Brain Injuries and Neurological conditions in their rehabilitation to allow them to move to back home or to other care facilities.

The service is staffed with Nurses, Rehabilitation Coaches, Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapists, Speech and Language Therapists, Neurological Consult and a Neurological Psychologist.

All the bedrooms have wet rooms and the service has a communal lounge, dining areas and an accessible garden. The service also has a therapy kitchen along with treatment rooms.

We are recruiting for a Night Support Worker to join our team on a FT or PT basis - shifts are 8pm-8am over a 7 day rota.

Your role as a Support Worker will include:
- Providing 1-1 and group support sessions
- Creating engaging and creative ways to interact with the people you support
- Help with accessing the community and taking the people you support to their appointments.
- Set person-centred goals and agreeing on how to reach them
- Help with personal care when required
- Support the running of the home including the cooking and cleaning.
