Senior Support Worker

Salary: £13.11 per hour (£27,268.80 per annum)

 Working Hours: Up to 42 hours available

Service: Apple House Little Amberwood - Christchurch

We are currently recruiting for a Support Worker to join our team at Apple House Little Amberwood

Little Amberwood is a specialist residential home for four adults with learning disabilities who may also have moderately complex needs and, in addition, may be autistic. Our highly trained team offers comprehensive support in this beautiful residential setting. Little Amberwood offers extremely versatile accommodation tailored to each individual's preference and needs..

The Senior Support Worker Role

As a Senior Support Worker your role will be to assist in the senior management to assess peoples support needs and work with people we support to initiate and develop new ideas and methods regarding the quality of service.

The most important qualities needed are the ability to treat others with respect, listen to their needs and understand their emotions. Be Kind, friendly and honest.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Supporting adults with learning disabilities.
  • Have a minimum of a Level 3 NVQ/QCF in Health and Social Care or working towards this.
  • Able to motivate and manage a team.
  • Full UK Driving Licence
